We make meals for pets, FRESH. You place your order and we make food specifically for your dog or cat. Which is why don’t carry inventory.
Wednesdays and Thursdays are shopping days for making meals that go out for delivery and shipping on Mondays and Tuesdays. While shopping, we decide what ingredients will be put into each meal, solely based on quality and selection. Some weeks we have a bounty of beautiful meats, fruits, and vegetables to pick from. Other weeks, it’s a tougher job.
This is something other food manufacturers can’t provide: variety and perfect food every week. For example, if squash doesn’t look good or it’s out of season when we’re shopping, we’ll pass it up, substituting with something else. But other companies have a hard formula, so they’ll put that inferior squash into their product. Varying the recipe gives your pet something different to eat, new flavors and smells, making meal-time more interesting. It’s what would happen in the wild — there’s no way they’d eat the same food, every meal, for months or years.
It’s why we can make meals specific for your pet. If your cat has a fish sensitivity or allergy, we can easily work in a substitute. If you don’t want your dog eating a particular protein, just mention that in the NOTES during checkout, and we’ll use a substitute. What other pet food company can do that?
Usually by the end of the week we’ll publish the menu after shopping and before delivery or shipping on Monday or Tuesday.
A menu card is included with your delivery or shipment. You can also find your batch number below to see the ingredients used for your pet’s meals. Custom meals are not usually not listed. We list the ingredients for the last two weeks or so of batches. Contact us if you need a replacement menu emailed to you.
